Kittiwake Cards produces FSC certified postcards and greeting cards. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. As of June 2009, all paper used in Kittiwake's products has been certified from the FSC as being either recycled and/or cultivated from a sustainable, managed forest.
Currently, Kittiwake Cards are printed on FSC approved Productolith paper. Our envelopes are custom-made using Rolland Enviro 100 paper -- this paper is composed of 100% post-consumer fibre, processed chlorine free in a mill powered exclusively by biogas energy.
All inks used on our products are vegetable-based.
